Premium Channel

The 'European Weather' Premium Channel features forecasting and reanalysis applicable for agricultural and energy markets across the continent and in specific growing regions including synoptic scale analysis of geopotential height anomalies, temperature, and rainfall. Our 21-day synoptic scale forecast of geopotential height anomalies across the region are devised from a 40-member ensemble forecast and forced into three clusters, based on the nearest neighbour approach, with the first cluster the most probable outcome. Initially designed for energy markets, discussion of pressure centres, temperatures, wind, and rainfall can be applied across sectors.
